"Misophonia - Literally 'Hatred of sound' is a rarely diagnosed disorder thought to be of neurological origin in which negative emotions(anger, hatred, and disgust) are triggered by specific sounds."
Our influences are vast and varied; in due time we hope to define ourselves with our own unique sound and not be a carbon copy of our influences. With the Misophonic seed planted in mid-2016, but solidifying their lineup in 2017, Misophonia spent the next year honing their sound.
After making their live debut in 2018 after playing a run of very successful shows the band found themselves in limbo in early 2019 after the departure of two key members. 2020 saw the band return from self-imposed exile with a fresh new line-up, a new sound with more hunger. The band went on to release their comeback EP 'New beginnings' In January 2021, and are currently sailing the crest of a creative wave for the untitled follow-up.
